Clean Laundry

There really isn't a way to explain it, but everyone loves the feeling, smell, and sight of clean, crisp, good-smelling laundry! Personally, I just love when my laundry is clean because that means that I have no laundry to DO. Ahahahaha! :)

Girlfriends

I am SO grateful to have wonderful girlfriends who I can go to girly movies with, talk to about womanly problems, joke about anything and everything, and who I can turn to and talk to in times of need and in times when no one else will seem to understand.

Girlfriends have a different dynamic than any other group of friends, and it works well for the female soul.

Today in particular, I am going out with my girlfriends to see the movie Burlesque!!! YAY! :) Exciiiiited.

Girls Will Be Girls: Nail Polish

Girls will be girls, and one of the pretty little things that I love is nail polish. OPI is my favorite with Revlon as a close (and cheap alternative) number 2. OPI is fun, but Revlon is a quick fix when you can't find OPI anywhere but need to paint your nails or toenails.

Vanessa loves OPI too! You can usually pick them up in hair/nail salons, or sometime in boutiques, as well as on Amazon too! You just gotta look around. It's a little price (about $7-8 dollars a bottle regularly) but well worth the money in quality.

I especially love the shimmery, glittery, or sparkly polishes! (I'm attracted to anything shiny--ask anyone. LOL)

What polishes or brands do you like or recommend? I'm always game for something new!

Holiday items have slowly been trickling into stores and this is the latest item that has caught my eye.  It's fun, it's festive, and it's merry and bright!

This will surely not be the last post regarding the holiday season since both Krystn and I LOVE Christmas!

Pets: For Better or For Worse

I appreciate...

the pets in my life. It sounds a little silly, but I sit--almost perplexed when I really think about it--and marvel at the unwavering love that my pets have for me. All they look for in you is affection and for you to feed them and they provide you with a lifetime of companionship.

My dog, Mika, no matter how grouchy I am, or what kind of day I've had, she always leaps and bounds to the door and makes sure to lick my face incessantly when I come home because she is glad to see me. She knows when I'm sad, and will lay next to me, almost as if she's saying "awww, don't feel sad, I'm here." She also looks forward to each time that I take her outside. For ANYTHING. Even if it's just to sit in the garage for a while. What she really loves is riding in the car, but she never really expects me to take her out. She just loves it if I do. She doesn't ever have mood swings, or a bad day, and she's always grateful.

It amazes me. No wonder pets are like best friends! So here's to all the pets in your life. Cheers. :)
